In a prime location in the centre of Istanbul, RW BOUTIQUE HOTEL provides air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. The location of the hotel is perfect - just a few steps from the main attractions and the tram stop. It was pleasant to find some cookies and bottles of water in the room on arrival. Free water was always provided there. Individual breakfast portions consisted of local appetisers, fried potatoes and eggs. It was tasty and a bit different every morning. When guests asked for some more coffee or a croissant, they got it. There is a small lift which is really great, especially after the whole day of walking. Our room had a magnificent view on the mosque illuminated in the evening. Besides, we could hear the evening and morning prayer - perhaps, some people would complain that they were awoken by it at 5am , but we enjoyed it. Such prayers can be heard throughout the city all the day. The staff is polite and helpful - they do their best to answer the questions. It is advisable to get a Transportation Card which can be used to pay the fees not only for any of the city's public transportation systems, including buses, metrobuses, trams, the tunnel and ferries, but also for the restrooms run by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality - you just need to load money onto it in cash or by credit card using the machines on the tram stops. It is really safe to walk in the city; most people speak English and are eager to help you if you ask about something. Also, there are Tourist Police who are really helpful. The queues to the museums were not long at all - maybe because it is not a high season yet.

Latvieši noteikti var izmantot viesnīcā strādājošās latvietas Ingas ieteikumus un jautāt par visu, kas ineteresē. Neiesakām piedāvāto turku vakaru uz kuģīša ar šovu un vakariņām. Principā to iesaka viesnīcā un redzējām piedāvājumus arī pilsētā. Tīrākā haltūra, bijām ļoti vīlušies. Ja vēl šovs no 10 ballēm bija uz 5, tad viss pārējais knapi uz 1. Pats kuģis bija diezgan pavecs, skats uz Stambulu pa mazu lodziņu, pie galda jūs sēžat 8 cilvēki, apkalpojušies personāls netiek galā. Ēdienu vīram atnesa 15-20 minūtes ātrāk nekā man, bet arī vēsu. Es izvēlējos zivi, bija normāla, bet man bija jāēd kad gāja šovporgramma, uz šķīvja vispār neko neredzēju. Mēs nopirkām papildus ar bezlimita alkoholiskiem dzērieniem, katram +20 EUR. Gribējām pie vakariņām piedzert klāt vīnu. Pēc vairāk nekā stundas, kad tu redzi ka pie citiem galdiņiem nes alu, bet mums nekā, sākām paši jautāt kur mums ir. Tad vīrietis kas pavadīja mūsu grupu, sāka meklēt, organizēt un kad jau vakars pusē beidzot mēs arī tikām pie sava vīna. Izdēru vienu glāzi, otru ko atnesa vispār bija nebaudāma, jo bija cits vīns. No bezlimita bezalkaholiskajiem dzērieniem tika piedāvāta Cola un Fanta 1 glāze. Meitene no Kazahstānas kas sēdēja man blakus, jautāja vai varot dabūt vēl vienu dzērienu. Apkalpotājs atbildēja, ka jā, bet tā arī neatnesa. Gribējām pavadīt ļoti īpašu vakaru, bet diemžēl.... Tas viss mums izmaksāja 140 EUR. Iesaku viesnīcai tomēr pārdomāt, ko viņi iesaka. Jo mans vakars tika sabojāts. Iesakām apmeklēt netālo Otanti Restaurant. Mums ļoti patika! Gan turciskais interjers, gan apkalpošana, gan ļoti garšīgi paēdām.

Located in the centre of Istanbul, Endican Sultanahmet Hotel is situated less than 1 km from Blue Mosque and a 8-minute walk from Basilica Cistern. Brand new refurbished hotel with great location in the center of Istanbul. The rooms were not really big, but very clean and stylish. The room service cleaned our room every day very properly. Staff at the reception is super friendly and helpful. We would like to thank specially to front desk Manager Emrah for giving us perfect service and a big smile everytime we saw him. Location of the hotel could not be any better - most of Istanbuls attractions are reachable in a walking distance. There is also a tram station just a few meters from the hotel. This hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are so many caffeterias, bakeries and restaurants around. If you book the room soon enough before your arrival, you will get great prices per night! THE VALUE FOR MANY RELATION WAS GREAT FOR US.
