This hotel was amazing! We arrived quite early because of our early flight, but they were able to check us in early so we could rest in our room. The breakfast was sumptuous with great selection. It wasn't a buffet, but you could pick out a main dish with unlimited side dishes such as juices, pastries, fruits, and yoghurt - more than enough to fuel the start of the day. Every afternoon, there are complimentary snacks and coffee by the lobby, and there is always free wine every late afternoon, making it a great way to relax and fully enjoy the experience in the hotel. The location is great - tucked in a quiet neighborhood, but so accessible to the main road and to public transportation.

Boasting a rooftop swimming pool with great city views, Hotel Proverbs Taipei is sitting in Daan District, a short 5-minute walk from MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station and MRT Zhongxiao Dunhua Station. Absolutely the finest hotel I’ve ever been at the service. The personal service was beyond anything I would’ve ever expected.

The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei er et luksuriøst 5-stjernet hotel, som ligger 7 minutters gang fra Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. Der er udendørs pool, sauna og gratis parkering på stedet. This is a very good hotel in this category. The outside looks quite boring but the inside of the hotel is very nice and cosy. The family room we booked was very comfortable and big enough for the four of us. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was in my opinion above average for this type of hotel, with a very wide range of options, and everything was very fresh and well prepared. The swimming pool is also great - it surely doesn't have the charm of a rooftop pool but is very convenient, quite big, and our kids had a lot of fun.
