Set in a renovated dock building with Table Mountain as background, Queen Victoria Hotel & Manor House offers world-class accommodation overlooking the V&A Waterfront. Superbe location. Very (!) friendly personnel. We arrived late in the evening. Despite the kitchen was closed they found some cheese and bread ... and some wine :-)

We found the Dock House to be the perfect starting point after landing in Cape Town! It's a bit hard to find at first, but once you know where to go it's very conveniently and centrally located on the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are lovely, well-appointed, and the beds are quite comfortable - there was even a veranda for us to have our morning coffee! The included breakfast is wonderful - everything was delicious and Ashley takes extreme care in both the decor and latte art. Would definitely stay here again!
