This tent features air conditioning, tea-and-coffee making facilities and en suite bathroom. Frontier River Resort asub Lõuna-Aafrikas, 6 km kaugusel Vioolsdrifti piirikontrollist Namiibiasse. The grounds and luxury tents were in a nice setting with a lot of seasonal planting upgrades, like their own orange grove, that I would love to return to see in the future. Because the facility is on a hillside, owners were concerned with my walking with a crutch but I managed well. Really enjoyed falling asleep with the tent flaps open so I could look at stars, wake to first sun light and bird song. Everything from bedding to towels and toiletries made me feel like I was in a luxury spa. I really enjoyed the owners young son who was concerned about compression wraps on my legs. He sat me in a chair in front of the tent, went and got my book and kept me entertained until my husband came back from his walk. Such a big heart, full of compassion, in such a small body.

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The tent's kitchen, which has a refrigerator and a microwave, is available for cooking and storing food. This is an amazing campsite. The location is gorgeous and wild animals roam around it freely. Sunset was gorgeous. The showers were hot and clean. The owners are a lovely couple who made us feel completely taken care of. Important to note that this is not a glamping tent that you're getting. It's just a campsite. This listing is inaccurate - please add pics and update. Wifi is only at the house and if you want food, you need to let the owners know well in advance so that they can go prepare it for you.

Grunau Country Hotel Grünau on kahetärnihotell, millel on välibassein, aed ja baar. Kohapeal on laste mänguväljak, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Kõikides tubades on veekeetja. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

Torgos Safari Lodge asub umbes 5 km kaugusel Mata-Mata piiripunktist, mis viib Kgalagadi piiriparki. We had a fantastic time at Torgos Lodge. The location was perfect for us to visit the Kgalagadi TNP as day visitors every day via the Mata Mata border post. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife along the dry riverbed. Jaco was a gracious host, looking after us carefully, and Mariam & Sonnety kept us well fed with delicious food. Thanks to them and the team. All in all excellent hosts that really added to the experience - we’re counting down the months until we can return!
