We booked 3 tents for our group of 6 people and all the tents are spacious with comfy beds, A/C, and bathroom. The hotel is right next to the huge sand dunes and you can easily climb up the dunes at sunrise or sunset without the need of booking their 4x4 jeep tours as the "jeep" won't go very far anyway. The view from the top of the sand dunes is beautiful and peaceful. The dinner and breakfast were also great. We ate camel meat for the first time here. Note that they will charge you extra for drinks at dinner.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

The tent offers a barbecue, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The tent features outdoor furniture. The unit offers 2 beds. The camp is on top of a sand dune and has amazing views. You can even enjoy the view on a swing. Very comfortable beds!

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. The camp is great. There are only two tents and you can rent the whole thing for yourself. We really got the experience of being out in the desert alone. The facilities are excellent with a good bathroom and shower and nice bed (no A/C). The tents are in the traditional style as is the dining tent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth waking up for sunset.

Very nice immersion in the Wahiba Sands desert. The host was extremely careful of the wellbeing of his guests. Willingness to share some of the beduins traditions in a single night.
