I loved everything about this stay. The quiet area, the traditional place, the cozy room with the fire, and the homemade (and delicious) breakfast. But above all, I'm so glad I could meet Kayoko. She welcomed me so warmly and made me feel at home. Thanks, Kayoyo. I'll be back very soon so I can't wait to visit you again!

Our recent stay at this charming inn in Kyoto was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made our experience truly exceptional. Not only were they incredibly welcoming, but they also went out of their way to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The inn’s location couldn’t have been better. Situated in close proximity to the subway, it made exploring Kyoto’s treasures a breeze. We appreciated the convenience of being able to easily access the city’s attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. All in all, our stay here was a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning in the future. Toni the host was the the most friendly and cool dude I've met on my hostel adventures, he was great just to chat to but super helpful with advice and help with info about kyoto! The area is quiet which is nice and also close to everything you need.

Unbeatable location in the downtown area, but on a quiet street. Had a wonderful time meeting other solo traveller ladies who were all so kind and considerate and friendly. Felt like I was coming home each day, and was sad to leave! There was even a foot massage machine which was such a treat each day.

Small hotel with good location, 10’ walking distance from Kyoto Station. Staff is super helpful.

It feels like home once you arrive there, it’s a lovely house that smells so good like the fresh home made bagels they prepared every day. The room was beautiful with wooden roofs and it was perfectly clean. The staff was really nice and the home made breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

Very welcoming and helpful owner, cute neighborhood next to the river, traditional Kyoto inn with the option of taking a bath Japanese-style.

The hosts are so lovely and kind! They were really flexible with my check in despite me arriving there well before the designated time. It's the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler; the tatami style room was very cozy and comfortable. Small kitchen space and fridge was also a plus. The location is nice as its not in the thick of the really touristy areas so it doesn't feel over-crowded, but it's easy enough to commute to popular spots via bus.
