It was very clean and very well appointed. The pool and garden were lovely and the beach was a short walk. You could also walk to the village easily where there were many restaurants. The owners were fantastic. They helped with recommending places to visit, provided electric bikes for us to rent and even cooked us a lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing with fresh bread and croissants, jams, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Thank you Florence and Remy (and Fluffy)! We would highly recommend this accommodation.

A tranquil retreat in an ideal location. The garden was a mini oasis, we could walk to shops and restaurants and in 15 mins be at beautiful beaches. Thoughtfully decorated and appointed and Alex and Arnaud were on hand for any need!

If you get chance to small room at the top of the hotel is perfect for seeing the whole of St Martin de Re whilst being able the reflect and relax. An amazing place to stay

LE LANTERNON tiene piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y bar en Saint-Martin-de-Ré. Gorgeous property styled in an eclectic personal way. Jerome, was the ultimate host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Comfortable rooms and the position of the Hotel in St Martin was amazing.
