Definitely recommended to come here and connect with nature - as the place is located between a beautiful, not crowded beach and the jungle which you can see from the rooms. The place and the people working there are exceptional. Maria, Jose and the staff in general were super kind and helpful in every situation. Everything was just perfect: great facilities, incredibly comfy bed, delicious breakfast and the cutest kittens!

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in El Zaino. This place is stunning! Feels really luxury but such a good quality price. Best food I’ve had in a hostel in Colombia, or any hostel actually the owner is a chef. Try to book early to get one of the huts with an amazing view. Easy access to tayrona either a 1km walk or short bus ride. Also look out for the endangered monkeys at breakfast time!

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything. The place is beautiful, it’s super clean, new and very very cosy. The common area is amazing, with hammocks and the nice garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. And the lady Ruth at the reception was really lovely with me during my stay. Even if you have to walk 10 min from the main road, it worth is as the place is really quiet at night and you don’t hear the noise from the road. Unfortunately I could stayed only one night but I would have loved to stay longer.

Located in Guachaca, 15 minutes from Tayrona Park, Bohemia Beach offers accommodation, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. There is free WiFi. Everything! Nice food and good prices, staff was super friendly, bathrooms constantly cleaned, totally recommended!

Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke offers accommodation in Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You can play table tennis at this hostel. Location on beach can't be beat. What a reward after long hike. We were fed well with a nice variety of options (meat, fish or chicken) - very tasty. Highly recommend.

Posada Ecoturistica Palmares Del Rio is located in Guachaca, 41 km from Santa Marta and 38 km from Taganga. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. The family was very hospitable and the food was good. The river was beautiful and so was a nearby hike to a waterfall.
