First of all, I would come back again just for Karina and her family who own and run this hotel. It was a nice place, the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were provided. Karina spent a long time with our group helping with directions, taxis and really anything else we needed. They even did our laundry for us. They were the sweetest people ever and I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s located on the other side of Ushuaia, so closer to the national park side and not really the town. But it’s honestly worth it.

Set in a charming wooden house 400 metres from Ushuaia’s tourist information office, Los Calafates Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast is served daily. We really enjoyed our stay in Los Calafates. the room was spacious, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was good and complete with everything we liked. The place itself makes you feel at home in Ushuaia, but the staff add even more to the feeling. Ada and Hernán were very helpful, attentive and responsive, always caring for our experience. I thank them for having made our time in Ushuaia memorable and I highly recommend this place if you are planning to spend some time in the city.

Five nights in a Patagonia Suite was the ultimate in comfort. The restaurant food of a very high standard and the Pisco Sours best drunk sitting down. All the staff were very welcoming and extremely efficient. The hotel service into downtown Ushuaia ran many times each day.
