Liz and Andy are wonderful hosts. Liz cooked us an amazing breakfast, and Andy treated us to an adventurous ride in his ATV to cassowary falls. Bear the German Shepard is friendly! The infinity swimming pool is a marvel 👌 Its by far the best way to experience the beauty of QLD mystic forest.

Fabulous location, well looked after huts with every detail thought through. Nice welcome and appreciated being checked in on every day to confirm all was well.

Set directly opposite Thornton Beach and surrounded by the Daintree National Park, Thornton Beach Bungalows feature a private patio offering views of the Coral Sea. Bungalow is perfectly located in rainforest, close to the Thornton Beach (50 metres). The contact with nature is serene. Ullyses butterflies fly around, the cassowaries walk there. Thornton Beach is pure and beautifull.

Epiphyte B & B erbjuder boende med egen balkong eller uteplats, bara 5 minuters bilresa från stränderna i Cow Bay. Allt boende har utemöbler, fläkt och eget badrum. Vissa rum har kokmöjligheter. I liked that Epiphyte felt that it was part of the Daintree forest. It fitted into its surroundings and not the other way around. It is managed in an ecologically sound way but everything you wanted was there. It was peaceful and the tranquility of area seeps into your bones. I only wish I could have spent a morning relaxing in the hammock. Matt and his staff were very sociable and helpful. If ever I go back to the Daintree I would stay there again.

Eden Escape ligger i en terrass och erbjuder boende i Diwan med gratis WiFi och utsikt över havet. Eden Retreat was, to us, a little piece of paradise. The property, gardens and vista were beautiful. We felt completely removed from the rest of the world, and yet everything we wanted to see or do was less than half an hour away by car. Cooking was a breeze with the five-burner gas cooktop and oven, as was meal prep on the long wooden bench top. The pantry included staples such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil and a few sauces and spices. We very much appreciated the inclusion of a stove-top coffee maker too. We loved the view from the bathroom whilst standing under the rain shower each morning. It's possibly the nicest bathroom we've ever seen. The property was truly unique and the use of stone, timber and rock was beautifully and carefully done. Sitting outside first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon listening to the birdsong was delightful. We felt very privileged to be surrounded by the Daintree rainforest whilst looking out over the Coral Sea. A very special place indeed.
