Every member of staff was so friendly we arrived earlier than check in time so the lovely lady behind the desk helped us and recommended us a lovely place to go for breakfast and advise she’d call as soon as the room was ready which she did. We were able to check in a few hours earlier than the check in time! Overall all staff were so happy to help and friendly and even stored our bags for us prior to check in. They also had a work experience guy who was also really lovely. The location is fantastic and close by to attractions and the bed was genuinely the best and comfiest bed I have ever slept on! We’ve noted down the details to purchase on of our own! Highly recommend staying here I would definitely return

This historic property was built in 1906 and has been refurbished to highlight the original fireplaces and stained glass windows. We absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Vue Hotel. I booked this hotel for my Partners birthday and it really exceeded both of our expectations. Everything provided was of excellent quality, rooms were spotless and the owners had clearly thought about every last detail to make a guests experience amazing. The bedrooms and living areas are beautiful and we particularly liked the front room with the fire place. The view from our room was also superb! The kitchen facilities were fantastic and there was fresh bread, home baked goods and croissants put out every morning (which were amazing!). We arrived in hobart really early but the owners let us check in to our room really early which was very much appreciated. I thought the guest information provided (e.g. scenic trips, restaurants, bars) etc was extremely helpful! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top quality, comfort and a luxurious stay.
