I asked who I believe was the manager/owner if there was anywhere I could get a can of pop in the near vicinity and he said stores are closed, but that he would give me one of his own. The view from the room/balcony and the tranquility were also amazing.

Good location central to city restaurants, etc. Friendly and welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean with good facilities. Fantastic burger place (with other stuff as well as burgers) with exceptional service and value for money.

The location is great and the room was clean and comfortable. They offer a continental breakfast but there isn't bread or eggs however they have enough for you to be satisfied ☺️.

A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.
