Situated in the centre of Tegna in a very quiet area, Charme Hotel Barbatè features a lush green garden, which is known for providing inspiration to the famous political philosopher Hannah Arendt. I loved everything about Hotel Barbaté. The room was spacious, bed really very comfortable. The hotel is at Tegna Railway Station one of the stops of the Centovalli Railway. I travel by public transport and it was a great advantage for me. Bus stations are close too. Breakfasts were delicious, with great choice. What I liked the best was the owners hospitality and friendliness.

This small family hotel is clean and beautiful. The people who work there are very helpful, professional and courteous. Breakfast also was very good and tasty. If you don’t want to go looking for a grotto or a restaurant in the evening you can eat at the hotel. They’ve got a little restaurant as well. Or, you can just simply enjoy a very nice Aperol Spritz or other drink in the evening while looking onto their beautiful, little garden or the river. We absolutely loved our room on the top floor. With the room we had a balcony that looked onto their beautiful little garden and the river. There are two ways that lead to the hotel. Before you go there, if you want, give them a quick call and let them explain to you how the best way is to get there. Last but not least, there is parking for everyone. Really a sweet, awesome place!

Amazing, historical and very clean hotel in the heart of Swiss mountains. Just perfect location for those who are into hiking and enjoying nature. The staff of hotel were friendly and ready to guide you and support. The rooms are renovated in a way that historical element was preserved. Proximity of train station gives you a lot of flexibility and opportunity to explore nearby villages and towns. I also think the price was really affordable and the hotel is definitely worth it.

The Hotel Al Fiume is located 4 km from Locarno and Ascona, the only hotel in the area away from the main roads and train tracks, located in a peaceful green garden with tropical plants, directly on... Very friendly staff, superb breakfast, very comfortable beds, nice garden, very clean, proper fridge in the room, little private outdoor patio where we had breakfast, quiet, parking. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Located in Tegna, 4.9 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Ristorante della Stazione provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It's the equivalent of the all times' inn. It's a family run restaurant and they have clean rooms with shared bathroom. If you manage to make a connection to the owner and staff, you see that they are nice people. There is a beautiful spot to swim right down the place with a small waterfall and clear waters.

The location is amazing in the valley surrounded by nature. We did a wonderful hike from the Ostereis through the forest with many waterfalls and old stone villages. The staff treat you very well as the place is very small. The dinner in their restaurant was also delicious. The house is very old and charming.
