We went there on August 2022. The ower was very nice. She explained everything about interlaken that we need to known including recomended local restuarants. They also provided the interlaken traveling bus/train card covering all the days that we stayed there but mostly i think traveller would have swiss pass already. The hotel not quite far from the main station and breakfast very nice. They have elevator in the hotel so no worry for large luggages. Althoug they did not have an airconditioner, it was okay with the fan in the night. The weather was not bad at night, it was about 25 degree or less in August.

Lo Schloss Schadau Hotel & Restaurant offre un ristorante, un bar, una sala comune e un giardino a Thun. Living in Australia, we don't have castles. So the opportunity to stay in a castle was too good to pass up. Schloss Schadau did not disappoint. We were met at reception by Helen who could not have been more helpful and was also had a wealth of knowledge about the property. She personally showed us to our beautiful room which had a magnificent view of the lake and the Alps behind. If you stay here you simply MUST have dinner here as well. Again there is no escaping from the fact that you are in a castle ! The dining room(s) are luxurious and the food and the service are excellent, matching the decor. Breakfast is served in the same location. It wasn't cheap, but hey ! It's a castle. If you are able to stay one night or more here. You should do it. Unforgettable.

La signora/proprietaria alla reception è di una gentilezza disarmante, fornisce consigli utili per le escursioni e su cosa visitare.

The grounds are beautifully cared for with gorgeous flowers and palm trees. The food was extremely good, the spa facilities were top-rate and the gracious staff made our stay such a pleasure. A special thank you to the staff for our surprise at dinner on our 50th wedding anniversary!

A lovely hotel that is beautifully maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had nice weather when there and took advantage of the large outdoor area that overlooks the lake. Plenty of comfortable seating and an outdoor bar where you can get excellent drinks. Dining here is expensive, but a block away is an affordable restaurant with delicious Italian focused food. We had a car while there which was helpful as this is not in the midst of a big town. I believe the bus stops right by the hotel though.
