Arbostora is one of the quietest, poshest, and undiscovered places on the lake Lugano. The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.

We were surprised by how big the room was! We didn’t realize it was basically a 2 bdrm/ 2 bathroom place. It was huge! We also loved the view!! The view is what made us choose Hotel Colibri. The pool area was also really nice! It was a little too cold for our girls to take a dip but I’m sure it would’ve warmed up by the afternoon. The bus stop is right out front and the bus comes often! It was an easy 15 min. ride into Lugano. So worth it to stay up here for the view and it’s also nice and quiet in this area vs Lugano.

SLNH aka Hotel Nassa is well situated in city centre with a Lakeside frontage. From outside the train station Lugano Stazione, there's bus taking U to bus stop outside Hotel Nassa or like Us, took the Funicular(free) down n walked thru the City Centre/ Old Town via Via Nassa to the hotel. Hotel's location is most convenient to get to all attractions either by walks or buses, which are also free. Hotel's very clean n front office services were excellent n not forgetting the buffet breakfast n the lovely serving Lady.

The staff was really nice, the location of the hotel was perfect, the price was reasonable and the room & facilities were very clean. I recommend the Hotel San Carlo to anyone who comes to Lugano and does not wish to spend all of their money staying in a fancy hotel, but rather on sightseeing and discovering this beautiful little “big” city and its surroundings which are filled with so much life that you just might want to never leave….

The road from Lugano to the hotel was awesome with nice viewpoints over Lugano and the lake. After many road turns we finally arrived at an outstanding location. The reception and the hotel personal have been very friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is well equipped with good facilities for a relaxing stay (pools and spa area). We enjoyed the good cuisine as well as the garden with its numerous plants and flowers.

Fantastic customer service and accommodating my request by Francesco,Giuseppe and Rebecca. The view of the Lugano Lake from the Hotel is exceptionally beautiful. Definitely a great place to relax, meditate and reconnect with mind, body and soul. Lastly, thank you for the lovely surprise birthday gift, that was super thoughtful and made my day. The Walter au Lac Hotel has wonderful view over the lake of Lugano and the Monte Ré. We had 2 single rooms (connected) on the top floor and the view was stunning. They did offer a delicious breakfast with everything you want. On top of that the staff was very welcoming and the hotel is situated right in the centre of everything, shops, restaurants, lake, etc. We will return for sure!

The Hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the city centre and enjoys beautiful views on lake Lugano. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are a good complement. The fitness is extremely well equipped and the SPA area is modern, sparkling clean. We recommend to try the outstanding therapists and the Spa. We loved this hotel and we look forward to coming back soon.

Apartment building operated without any reception staff in a commercial area not too far from Lugano. Check-in is fully automated by a machine. The room was nice and had a good size, with mostly practical interior and little decoration. Good for an overnight stay during our trip to Italy or as an apartment during a business trip, but would not feel like a holiday place to me.

The Hotel has a certain charm and is located on the foreshore of Lugano Lake which is nice. Views across the lake and into the mountains from the room are excellent. The room we had was comfortable. Good location for getting away from crowds in nearby Italy for a more relaxing time. (although we ended up exploring the area instead of lying by the lake or pool)

A dynamite place. The best place I've ever stayed at in beautiful Switzerland. It is super affordable and easy to find. Just a few stops by bus from the train station. It is well connected to town. The host shared some tips with us about what to visit in Lugano and where to eat. Grazie mille, mi è piaciuto molto. The area is quiet at night.

The hotel is amazing starting with the welcoming staff, to the stylish touches and finally the cozy, plush rooms. They go out of their way to assist you and the property has many great features: two restaurants, a pool, terrazza and complimentary breakfast buffet. We were only in Lugano one night but Hotel de la Paix made it extra special!

We were highly inspired to see how Katia has served the visitors at the breakfast, asking for coffee, smiling, greeting and she knew where we come from and at which room we stay. If I visit Lugano again, I will definately stay at Hotel City Lugano and want to see her again. Thank you Katia and Hotel City Lugano.

Close to Lugano train station, friendly welcome. Payment is made at check-in so check-out just involves leaving the room key. Bed comfortable and larger than a normal single bed, hot water available any time of day. Very reasonable price for a hotel in Switzerland but don't expect more than the basics.

Hotel was very close to the city center, it was clean, and the staff were very pleasant!! Lugano was amazing and it was made better by having a nice, clean, and honestly very spacious room especially for a solo traveller. Even has an elevator, and views on the north side of the hotel are fantastic!!

Apartment had a stunning lake view. Location is perfect in beautiful and quiet Melide (lovely town with great beach, close to popular places like e.g. Lugano, Morcote, outlet Fox Town and also very close to Italy). Spacious, very well equipped apartment, parking right in front of the building.

It was our first time in Switzerland and we loved it! The apartment was very cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen and even do our laundry. What a treat! The city view from the apartment was gorgeous. Lugano is a beautiful city and we hope to come back soon.

Excellent apartment in a residential neighborhood of Lugano. Supermarkets and cafes are nearby. Spacious parking. Check-in was very smooth & very responsive/friendly host. The Apartment has everything you need/want to feel at home. Very satisfied with our stay.

We had a very comfortable stay in this cozy and lovely apartment. Easy self check in and check out. The apartment comes with balcony and its own parking space. Great location, 15 - 20 min walk to Lugano downtown and lake. Apartment had everything that traveller need. :)
