Situated in the centre of Schaffhausen, Hotel Kronenhof offers views of the Munot Fortress, free Wi-Fi, and 2 restaurants. This hotel was a real joy. It was well appointed and spotlessly clean throughout. The quality far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful, both at reception and in the dining room. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the local railway station so is ideal for anyone on a rail holiday.

Located opposite the train station of Schaffhausen, Best Western plus Hotel Bahnhof is only 200 metres away from the historic quarter and the Rhine River. It offers free WiFi throughout the property. Excellent breakfast, secure bike storage, good location, professional, competent and knowledgeable staff. Centrally located in Stein am Rhein, Hotel Rheinfels is housed in a historic building from the 14th century and features a restaurant with a large terrace facing the river. We spent a nice stay in the hotel as we expected. The hotel is traditionally old, charming and historical. The room is big and very clean. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant: the meals were good and the staffs were very friendly. We like this hotel and expecting to come back again.

Rauhallisella paikalla Schaffhausenissa sijaitseva Hotel Park Villa on 600 metrin päässä Rein-joelta ja 3 km:n päässä Rheinfallilta, joka on Euroopan suurin vesiputous. I loved the old feel of the hotel that wasn’t stuffy nor run down.

Ramsen bei Stein am Rheinissa sijaitseva viehättävä hotelli on 19 km:n päässä Reinin putouksilta. Hotellin ravintolassa tarjoillaan tyypillisiä sveitsiläisiä ruokia. Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century. First of all I have to salute the staff: Incredibly professional, friendly, welcoming, and cooperative. The room was so comfortable. All its facilities worked like a charm. The location is extremely convenient near everything. The breakfast is so delicious; it can have more variability but still amazing. Oh! and again: the staff the staff the staff :)
