Located in the centre of Wassen in the Canton of Uri, the family-run Hotel Gerig has a restaurant with a garden terrace serving traditional Swiss cuisine. Breakfast was amazing!! The Chef makes her own yogurt and jellies/jams, applesauce- all delicious!! The staff were all super friendly. The owner stopped by our table every morning at breakfast to ask how we are doing. He is very gregarious and kind!

Location is also amazing since the property is facing the mountains and the property itself is in the middle of nowhere (for good reason) that gives you time to relax. Super kind host.

Before arrival I'd had much communication with Ewa as we gained an additional friend on our journey. She was great - so weloming - she left the door unlocked so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. She came to welcome us and showed us around, advised about parking etc The place was lovely - very comfy rooms and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee machine was ready for use. Excellent value for money.

Ferienwohnung Gästehaus Fürlauwi enjoys a quiet location 1350 metres above sea level in the tranquil Meien Valley. The views at the location were magnificent. The host was very nice and welcoming. Everything was very clean and well organised. The apartment had everything one would need.
