Boasting a bar, The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin is set in Harbin in the Heilongjiang region, 4.4 km from Harbin Railway Station and 4 km from Saint Sophia Cathedral. The staff were excellent - very helpful, attentive to our needs, lots of TLC's during the our stay. Friendly, they all genuinely looked pleased to see you. Room was roomy light and airy. Beds comfortable and warm. Breakfast had a wide range food western and Chinese. Also it seemed to have a quiet area for eating breakfast. The views from the windows were great. Facilities what you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton hotel. Very clean hotel. It was a perfect hotel experience.

Set within 3 km of Saint Sophia Cathedral and 700 metres of Guogeli Street, Atour Harbin Museum Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Harbin. I booked 5 nites with Atour Harbin Museum with 2 bookings. I arrived around 9pm, I gave them my both confirmation bookings with Booking.com that booked a couple of months ahead. They insisted that they couldn't find my reservation and blamed Booking.com never confirmed with them. It is high season in Harbin now with the ice festival. They wanted the two rooms for more money and declined my booking. I was totally in shock as it was almost 10pm at nite and it was so difficult to get another hotel with a decent price. So we ended up with a far away hotel. Luckily our driver was willing to wait for us. They said they were totally sold out so I cancelled my booking the next day they claimed it was never confirmed. The hotel put it back on the market for triple the price. Do not book with Atour Harbin Museum hotel, very unethical business practice. It has never happened with me before as I m a VIP Genis member with Booking.com. They got back to me later said I was confirmed for the rooms but the hotel was a fault bumped me for higher price booking.
