The patio with the view on the arenal volcano is really nice to chill. The gardens on the property are very beautiful and you can see different animals too. The swimming pool was a nice bonus.

The rooms were incredible and the view from the shower was a highlight. It felt like you were showering in the jungle. The staff were also great. Loved the swimming pools.

Alajuela is a typical Costa Rican city
The city is like most cities in Costa Rica: not so well organized, full of life, colors, noice. There is not so much to see, except for the Zoo (Zoo Ave). It is a bit out of town but very good indeed! It is built into the forest, has lots of interesting animals in it. It is quite hard to find restaurants in Alajuela. You can easily find fast food but if you want something else, you need to use a bit time to find a place.
