We really like the site, very quiet, the resort is really well designed. We have a beautiful view, we love the little pool. We saw macaws, monkeys. Breakfast was good. Very good restaurants (italian pizza, all our meals exceed our expectations).

Exceeded expectations! The stand alone suite/cabins are brand new, beautifully designed, very spacious. Grounds are nice, amazing views to the ocean, lots of birds, a lookout tower, pool, restaurant for an excellent optional breakfast. Really reasonable prices. For dinner the Cerro Lodge is very close. Birds right outside my door.

The views are amazing, we didn't need to go to the beach because the views and the pool (that also has an amazing view) were enough. (I recommend cooking there, as going out to eat may be a little tedious.) We had a great time!

Rancho Capulin B&B features accommodation closer to Tárcoles. The property has an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a garden. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. We had renovated villa in front of a pool. It was beautiful secluded. A lot of birds in the morning wonderful breakfast we loved our stay.

The staff produce good and substantial meals and are always ready with any help required. 5 star hotel in a 5 star resort it is not but if you enjoy Costa Rican birds and wildlife together with a trip to the Pacific cost then don’t bypass Tarcoles and The House of Macaws
