Finca Sueno de Osa has a restaurant, bar, a garden and terrace in Puerto Jiménez. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Filipe and his family were the most gracious hosts imaginable. Extremely welcoming and very knowledgable on the local flora/ fauna. The place is far away from the nearest town, which is great if you want to switch off from the day to day life.

As soon as you step off of the boat you know you've landed in paradise, only to have it confirmed by the staff welcoming you to paradise. For me, the main attraction was the location and the possibilty of seeing wildlife on the property- whilst I was waiting to check in I saw a coati, vultures and spider Monkeys passing in front of me. The day after I left (damn aha) people saw a puma on the property- so for wildlife it is great. I stayed in the dorm, and there is something so liberating about having no walls to your room, and staring straight in to the ocean whilst brushing your teeth in the morning. Simply beautiful. The food was very good- as the other reviews mention it can be a little more towards the expensive side for a budget conscious Traveller. However, the dorms are ridicously good value for money and when you consider the effort gone in to getting the food there it's hard to begrudge the prices. I ate 1-2 meals a day and brought some snacks with me (the ants are real!! I'd suggest putting any snacks in to a dry bag if you have to bring some). Also, I went as a solo Traveller and felt so at home. Everyone is super friendly and I left with 2 other female travellers, so meeting people is easy here. But the real highlight for me are the staff. A big thankyou to Elizabeth for arranging the tours, Federico for managing this amazing property with the most friendly and profesional manner you can imagine, Roy for always checking in and giving us that amazing smile throughout the day, Marco for the most delicious cocktails and perfect music, Jaz for a night tour that beyond exceeded my expectations- it was so much fun! (also the horseriding tour was absolutely wicked! Wilbur was a great guide) Leo for the bonfire on the beach and stories about your life, and to the ladies who I saw around the property but I didn't catch your names, thankyou :) I will definitely be back 😁

Hotel Hoja de Oro Corcovado se găsește în localitatea Puerto Jiménez din regiunea Puntarenas, la 2,5 km de Plaja Tigre. Personalul proprietății poate organiza servicii de transport de la/la aeroport. We booked this room after our 3 day Corcovado trip. The room was spacious enough and it was nice to enjoy the balcony and relax there after making it back to Puerto Jiménez. The room (and hotel) is very clean and well maintained, the bed was very comfortable + hotel staff is super friendly and professional.

Cabinas Jimenez offers an outdoor pool and is located right by the beach of the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. We LOVED our stay here! Staff were so friendly, the free bikes and kayaks were an amazing bonus. It is just out of town, so you feel like you are out of the busy part of town, but still an easy walk into town for anything you need. Room was spotless and nice comfortable bed. We'll be back!

Playa Blanca Macaw Hotel se află în Conte și include o grădină, un bar, o zonă de plajă privată, și WiFi gratuit. Super nice host, great and quiet area. There is plenty of fauna around to watch, and they even rent kayaks. The on-site restaurant also helps if you are looking for a great refreshing fruit drink, or are looking for some great seafood! The beds are super comfy

Ocean Forest Ecolodge se află pe malul mării în San Pedrillo și oferă cazare de 3 stele, o grădină, un lounge comun și o terasă. Truly paradise. We arrived and immediately experienced watching baby turtles enter the sea. It was not too difficult to get there (though it takes some effort); we were there with 69 and 72 year-old parents and they did fine! We had the garden cabin from which we could watch monkeys and toucans eating in a tree while laying in our hammocks. The yoga building is beautiful and there are lots of nice nooks to lay and read. We also got to use the surfboards one afternoon. Plenty of places to hike and things to do. The staff was very warm and helpful. Great vibes.

Just 8 villas at a stunning location right by the ocean with a beautiful and vast gardens surrounded by pristine jungle and wildlife. Excellent food and drinks. Dolphins, kayaking and more....Doesn't get better than that.

Offering an outdoor pool, beautiful gardens and a bar-restaurant, LagunaVista Villas is located 200 metres from the beach by boat or kayak across the lagoon. We loved the location. The grounds, buildings, owners, & staff were wonderful.
