We came to Costa Rica to hike and watch birds. This property was perfect because it has over 40km of trails through gorgeous forest with many old trees. The trails are well maintained, and some are challenging, which we enjoyed. 3 days was not enough to explore all the trails. Philip and his wife are wonderful; one of the kindest hosts we have ever experienced. The food was plentiful and delicious. Philip knows a lot about the local natural history and was generous with his time. They drove us to the lodge from the airport and to our next destination which was convenient for us. We rented the small cabin on top of the hill and the view from the cabin was spectacular. If you are looking for nature, kind hosts, plenty of hiking trails and wildlife this is for you. It is not luxurious, and the only entertainment is nature. I can’t wait to return!

The Jaguars Jungle Rainforest Lodge - All meals included ligger i San Pedrillo och erbjuder en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. The staff was amiable and helpful, we had a very restful vacation. We saw a lot of biodiversity and even wild animals on the property. the food was delicious.

The staff was making sure every day for three weeks to make my visit as pleasant as possible. The shared areas and kitchen gave an opportunity to meet other travelers and exchange ideas for activities in Puerto Jiménez. The hotel is excellent for different tourists ranging from eg. backpackers to families.

Cabinas Jimenez offers an outdoor pool and is located right by the beach of the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. beautiful view and great location walking distance to town and many restaurants. friendly and helpful staff, our room was basic but comfortable and great value. we enjoyed using the pool and kayaks

There is plenty of fauna around to watch, and they even rent kayaks. The on-site restaurant also helps if you are looking for a great refreshing fruit drink, or are looking for some great seafood! The beds are super comfy

Ocean Forest Ecolodge erbjuder 3-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i San Pedrillo och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass. Truly paradise. We arrived and immediately experienced watching baby turtles enter the sea. It was not too difficult to get there (though it takes some effort); we were there with 69 and 72 year-old parents and they did fine! We had the garden cabin from which we could watch monkeys and toucans eating in a tree while laying in our hammocks. The yoga building is beautiful and there are lots of nice nooks to lay and read. We also got to use the surfboards one afternoon. Plenty of places to hike and things to do. The staff was very warm and helpful. Great vibes.
