Set on the beachfront within Piedras Blancas National Park, Saladero Ecolodge is surrounded by rainforest and is accessible only by boat. It was extremely peaceful and beautiful. We were surrounded on all sides by the very best of nature.

Featuring a natural swimming pool and an extensive tropical garden, this eco-lodge is set in the rainforest just 2 km from La Gamba Village, on the edge of Piedras Blancas National Park. What a spectacular property. A bird watchers paradise. The cabins are rustic but clean no ac. The highlight are the personable and skilled naturalists who lead the tours. We enjoyed a mangrove tour, bird watching walks and a forest night walk all excellent. Being adjacent to a national park there is also abundant wildlife. The pool and lounge areas are lovely.
