We are looking forward to returning to Rinconcito Lodge! The whole place is comfortable, we liked our junior mountain suite very much, the staff friendly and helpful, food is very good with an easy-going schedule so we only ate two meals a day, perfect for us. The nesting colony of montezuma oropendola birds at the entrance is amazing! Westayed 4 nights And I’m glad we did. This allowed us to rest one day, then took the combo tour on our second day - Horseback ride into the Santa Maria part of the park, wonderful fun and private uncrowded zip line tour with our guides Jose and Ronald, and continued further into the park on horse guided by Terencio who took us deeper into the park eventually on foot to the warm springs river and waited very patiently while we had lunch there and enjoyed the warm waters. he even helped us with the mud. our third day we drove ourselves into the Pailas sector of the park and did our own hiking tour. Rinconcito is a peaceful place with no pressure. as far as we can tell the rooms are all very nice with a range of qualities from smaller rooms close together to the more separate mountain suites that we stayed in. oh a great trail on the property to a waterfall we swam under too.

Hacienda Guachipelin Volcano Ranch Hotel & Hot Springs is located at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, in north-west Costa Rica. A really well maintained property with extensive leisure and dining options. Great choice of food at the breakfast buffet the staff were friendly and helpful. We wish we had booked for longer.

We had a spacious room connected to the house. The fan was more than enough to keep you cool. The outdoor living space was fantastic. You still felt quite private and it overlooked the beautiful gardens of the massive block of land were you can watch all the different birds fly through. The blue healers were gorgeous and friendly. The owners are very helpful with fantastic recommendations. Make sure you have dinner here. Its the best you'll get in costa rica. A perfect place to come back to after exploring all the nearby activities. Small village nearby if you need any supplies.

Guayaboses asuvas majutusasutuses Pochote Lodge on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, aed, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. The host Francisco is so friendly and great to chat with (in spanish). Our rental car could not make it up the road as its quite steep and has loose gravel (we had a 2WD geely gx3) but Francisco very kindly offered to leave our car in the parking lot of a nearby gated hotel and he drove us up and back down the next morning. The breakfast was traditional costa rican and very well made. The property was pretty and we saw keel billed toucans in the morning. The beds were comfortable, there was a small kitchen we could use and everything was very clean. Would recommend!
