The hotel is well located, the staff is super nice, the breakfast is good and the rooms are super clean. It was super good holidays and we had a problem to buy the ferry tickets but the receptionist bought it for us, sent them by mail. Without him we couldn't come to Maio and would have a lost the hotel so you can trust them and just relax during your stay. They also have a restaurant and the food is good. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet so it's relaxing.

Villa Maris is just a paradise in Maio: great house in a very nice residence area, amazing views topped up with the unique infinity pool…but the best is definitively the treatment and the staff! We felt like home We were sent a taxi to the ferry to bring us to the house and welcomed by Alicia who was in charged of making our stay easy and relaxing: she help us with renting a car, booking massages and with any question we had, specially the last day when our boat was delayed by 12 hours and she took care of us in addition to let us stay in the appartment free of charge and always with a smile :) Loved our stay!

Hubane ja lõõgastav kollane maja asub rannast 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Terrassiga majutusasutus asub Calhetas. We have really enjoyed our stay at Isolinda’s apartment. From start to finish we felt like at home. Isolinda has come to pick us at the airport and dropped at off after the stay. The house is located in very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for someone who wants to disconnect and be in the nature. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. There are 2 terraces to enjoy. The local Ponta Preta beach is very nice and you will be pretty much the only people enjoying it. At the main beach in town you can buy fresh fish daily and then enjoy cooking it or making a barbecue at home. The best part is the host Isolinda who always went out of her way to answer any questions and to give us recommendations. She always answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Maio is a small island and you can visit most of the main points in one day either by hiring a car or doing a tour. It feels like going back in time where the pace of life is much slower. Everything is relaxed and no stress :) People are very nice and friendly, greet you on the street and smile. Overall we would highly recommend Isolinda’s apartment and we undoutebly will be back once traveling back in Maio. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Villa GΚMEO vue mer, piscine accès privé plage pakub majutust Calhetas. Do Maio asub Biche Rocha rannast 600 meetri ja Praia de Ponta Pretast 1,4 km kaugusel. Amazing villa with a spectacular ocean view and a great pool. We were a group of 4 and it was even more incredible than we all imagined. Thank you Daniel for taking care of our transport from the port as well. Highly recommended and will not even think twice to go back and stay as much as possible.

Hiljuti renoveeritud A.M.A Appartament asub Calhetas. Apartemendil on aed ja merevaade. Do Maio asub Praia de Ponta Pretast vähem kui 1 km kaugusel. The owners kindly arranged pick up from the airport at no extra cost. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts and shown into this delightful apartment, with amazing view of the sea. There was even a welcome pack of tea, coffee, suger, biscuits, fruit and water. The hosts arranged an island tour, which they accompanied us with other guests and it made the holiday. They do everything to make your stay comfortable, including washing & drying some clothes prior to departure as the machine was broken.

Aia ja aiavaatega Casa Djarmai Boutique Apartments on hiljuti renoveeritud apartement, mis asub Vila do Maios, 400 meetri kaugusel Biche Rocha rannast. Kohapeal on pakihoid ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. This is a spectacular apartment. Visually just stunning. Clean, well located. The hosts were very responsive.

Mäevaatega A Caminhada asub Morros. Kohapeal on bassein, tasuta jalgrattad, aed ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Bernard was extremely helpful and friendly.

Aiavaatega Barracudamaio asub Morros. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann, aed ja grillimisvahendid. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass, noolemäng, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. kristoph and Mona are a very hospitable and warm couple ( French/Norwegian) , you feel immediately at home with them. They pick you up from the boat and serve excellent meals, homemade bread and marmelade and cheese for breakfast, fresh fish dinners. They have created their own piece of heaven on a hectare of walled land. There are only two apartments, very cosy and well equipped. the dogs Jazzy and Irma are part of the family and make you feel straight at home as well. The beautiful beach is at walking distance very nearby, as is the lovely laid back village of Moro. Just walk to the beautiful centuries old baobab tree and you will find the village. From Villa maio/Porto ingles you can walk back to your apartment along the salt pans, a lovely one and a half hour walk.
