DESIGN SUITES Boutique Hotel - Adults Only features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Santa Maria. Everything was correct, The staff was always friendly ad hepfull. Under the quality standar of this area this is the best place we have been. We arrived late at night and reception was not open (but instructions to enter the building, where to find the room keys and basic information was provided). It was very easy. On the following day we made the check-in and payed the stay by card. On this island you can always pay cash in euros. The breakfast on the toproof was quite complete and good . The view from there and the swimming pool add a plus to this experience. If I come back again I will choose this place again.

Right next to the beach. Very close to the center of Santa Maria and the pier. peace and quiet. large, spacious room with great balcony. Everywhere spotless. nice, well-kept furniture. Good breakfast every day. Fruit, muesli, rolls, cheese, cold meats, yogurts... Excellent contact with the owner. In the event of the slightest fault or inconvenience, immediate response is provided. Hotel Da Luz has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Santa Maria. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. The location was quite convenient to the downtown area; was within walking distance. The rooms were nice & clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the omelette with ham & cheese. Overall, great value for money. My wife and I would definitely stay there again!

Located in Santa Maria, Hotel Morabeza offers accommodation with 3 outdoor swimming pools. The property has a fitness centre, game room, 3 bars, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The workers kept the grounds clean and well maintained. I saw them sweeping the cobblestones and the surrounding areas every day, cleaning the pools, and taking care of the gardens. One could tell how much emphasis the management puts on cleanliness and maintaining the grounds. All the staff were very nice and friendly and greeted me every day. Loved that there were different restaurant choices, either at the beach or at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the variety of breakfast foods available. Also, I appreciated that there is a cash machine in the lobby and didn’t have to go out and find an ATM machine to withdraw cash.

Situated 300 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Maria, Porto Antigo Hotel BB welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Rooms have a TV. Porto Antigo is several building of apartments in a well located area of Santa Maria, with security, reception open until late, and a private pool overseeing a bay protected from the waves where you can swim all time. The apartment I had assigned was marvellous, always kept very clean, and quiet. The staff of Porto Antigo was very helpful at all time, supporting me on all requests, and even overcoming and helping me with any issue I could have. I would definitely choose it again!

Located in Santa Maria, 1.2 km from Nazarene Church, Hotel LIVVO Budha Beach has a number of amenities including a terrace, a shared lounge, a bar and free WiFi. The breakfast with the traditional dish was great. The room was very comfy. The pool area was great. and the mood with the ocean right there was perfect. The whole environment was very peaceful. If we go back to Sal island we will go back to this hotel.

Hotel MiraBela is a 3-star bed and breakfast located in the centre of Santa Maria and within 100 metres from the beach. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a balcony. The hotel is located on the main street and so just 2 min walk to the beach, very convenient! You can get a filled water bottle and when it's empty, they'll refill it so you can bring it along. The breakfast was lovely and you had different options which was good. I also want to give a big big big thank you to Simone, she made me feel so safe as a solo female traveller and give me tips. She reassured me a lot of times. Thank you to Lisandro as well!
