Located on the main street in the village of Karlstejn, this air-conditioned 4-star hotel is just 500 meters below Karlstejn Castle and overlooks Berounka River. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The location is a good balance between walking distance to the train station, restaurants, and the castle and forest trails.

The surrounding area is charming, with the fields of yellow rapeseed flowers blooming in the spring. I saw in the activities list quarry swimming, which can be nice to try in the summer.
