We started our holiday with a 6 hrs delay leaving Malta and I was really really worried that we would find the RotmeerHaus closed but when we arrived, late in the night - instead of early afternoon, our host was waiting for us with a smile. Rami, you are unique!!!! I loved everything about this holiday, the place was so beautiful that I kept taking photos of the same scenarios. The hotel was beyond any expectations and the breakfast was really good especially the smoothies Rami used to prepare for us. Rami was always there for us, he made our holiday extraordinary. I used to ask him daily regarding our destination for the day etc and he helped every time. When returning back to our room after our day out, the room was always spotless. I HIGHLY recommend RotmeerHaus. Rest assured that you will fall in love with the place like we did!!

Large clean spacious room leading to a large shared terrace that can be partitioned for privacy. Room no.4 had tea, coffee facilities, sofa and table and a large, clean bathroom. No fridge in the bedroom, but water and drinks available from shared fridge in the landing. A lovely touch when holidaying in Germany. Breakfast was delicious with choice of meats, cheese, jams, fresh bread rolls and juice, and their scrambled eggs were the best ever! Beautiful restaurant also for an evening meal. We had the steak, and their grilled meat plate. Homemade fries and more fresh vegetables would have been more appreciated on the plate rather than just shop bought fries. However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.

This was a great location for us - right at the border of Switzerland and Germany, on the German side (less expensive!). It was in a quiet location, yet close to services such as gas stations, groceries, and restaurants. The room was quiet and comfortable. Good water pressure in the showers, air con worked well, and the breakfast was scrumtious with many home-made and/or local goodies. The hosts were friendly and efficient, knowledgeable about the area, and easy to converse with since they are multi-lingual. We would not hesitate to stay here again, or to recommend this B&B to friends and family.
