She explained where everything was in Guardalest, gave us a map. Showed the best restaurants and was generally an incredible host. Breakfast far exceeded expectations for a quaint hotel.

Beautiful surroundings and most importantly there is something to do. There are museums, the castle, many cafes, and you can enjoy the peace in the evenings. There are walks both up the mountains and along the flat scenic road to the nearby small town (which also has a grocery store). The apartments are very clean, comfortable, heated (in winter) and spacious enough. Mountain views can be enjoyed directly from the window. The landlords are very helpful and friendly (I won't list how much they helped, you could say they save our vacation:))
