We received a very warm welcome and every communication with the staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was modern, airy, spotlessly clean and spacious. Also, the breakfast was amazing - our server was attentive, welcoming and we received a platter with excellent variety. Coincidentally, we stayed in a 5 star hotel directly on the Cathedral plaza in Santiago de Compostela the night before and the two places should exchange their star ratings. We were celebrating a special moment for us which was completely ignored by the aforementioned 5 star hotel whereby the staff of Hotel Costa da Morte was congratulating us in every way.

Hotel Mar de Fisterra is set in Fisterra, at the end of Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and less than 50 metres from Langosteira beach. We liked everything about this property. We arrived early to a very welcoming Sara at the front desk. She spoke English well enough to not only understand us but made an effort to communicate answers to questions we had. She let us check in early and leave our bags in a side room so we could explore the area. Sara gave us directions to lunch suggestions, sights, groceries, laundry and beach while also cleaning and getting ready for new guests. Upon our return to check in to our room we were excited to open the door and see the unbelievable view of the beach, mountains, ocean, etc. The room was clean, comfortable and full of amenities. We had a wonderful walk on the beach and saw the many sights including the evening walk out to the lighthouse (Sara gave us suggestions, taxi # if we wanted to use it) Breakfast the next morning was included. Perfect selection of everything you would want to start the day with Sara’s friendly personality serving things up. Highly recommend this place because of the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and the VIEW! Breathtaking!!! We have stayed in many, many places on our Camino from Porto to Santiago. Hotel Mar de Fisterra is definitely #1. Thank you! We will tell others and hopefully return ourselves. 👍❤️👣

O Semaforo Hotel adalah bagian dari Mercusuar Finisterre yang telah dikonversi, 3 km dari Kota Fisterra. Hotel ini menawarkan kamar-kamar berpemanas dengan TV satelit. They have a tiny room but it is a third of the price of a standard room, so I know what I was getting. If you are finishing the Camino at Finisterre, consider this as a treat for yourself. Location can't be better, right at the 00.000 km marker with cliffs on either side, the lighthouse in back and The Camino in front. Watching the sunset from the two story bar is perfect and I had my best meal of the journey in their restaurant. Included breakfast was lovely.
