Set in an impressive 19th-century building, Hotel El Xalet maintains original features such as floral stained-glass windows and mosaic floors. It offers an outdoor pool, cocktail bar and free Wi-Fi. Hotels style is very nice, we really liked our stay here. Breakfast was good with varity of things to eat served with coffee, tea and fresh orange juice. We also got our baby cot prepared as requested! We also decided to eat dinner at hotel and it was very good! Thank you!

We loved the pool and the gym. Nice bar at the hotel and really nice room and beds. The location is in a quiet neighbhorhood that we liked and takes like maximum 10 min to walk to the beach and 15 mins to downtown maybe. The hotel offers a (free I think) shuttle to downtown but we never used it as we liked the walked.

We had a bedroom with a terrace which overlooked the courtyard. I would definitely choose this room again as I think the rooms on the road side may be a little noisy at night. Our bedroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was tastefully designed, all very clean. There were free beverages and light snacks in the communal area downstairs which looked out onto a beautiful courtyard. The location was perfect and most of all, Rocío and Laura were lovely and extremely helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the room was nice and the sea view is fantastic! The staff was helpful with any kind of matters and very hospitable. The food at the restaurant was tasty. Perfect hotel for a relaxing stay close to Barcelona, highly recommended!
