Hôtel Restaurant Le Lachens is located in La Bastide in the Var department, 3 km from La Roque-Escaplon and 8 km from Bargème. It offers free Wi-Fi access, a large garden and a terrace. Le Lachens indeed turned out to be a real gem in the middle of almost nowhere:) An extremely friendly, cosy and welcoming family-run hotel with clean and comfy rooms, big ensuit bathrooms, good buffet breakfast with a very decent selection. A surprise dinner is worth a separate mentioning! We ordered 7 dishes to share between 2, not knowing what it would be before it was served (however, we could warn beforehand about the food we don't eat) - a complete choice of the chef. All our doubts disappeared once we were served absolutely lovely and delicious sets of entrees, main dish, cheese plate and desert - apparently all the cheeses were produced by the local farmers. We never regretted ordering this surprise dinner, and guessing the ingredients of the dishes was an additional fun! Highly recommended!

Logis Grand Hotel Bain is a family-run hotel since 1737 and is located in Comps-sur-Artuby, near the Gorges of Verdon. It offers en suite rooms with free WiFi and a TV. Nice staff, we arrived late and they organized a cot for baby.

Located in La Roque-Esclapon, Le Coq en Pâte offers a terrace, bar and on-site restaurant. The Araignée Valley is 1 km away and Combe Forest is a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Nice host, centuries old hotel/restaurant building, a cafe/restaurant below, friendly dog Sam, good pizza with hand knead dough

Ubytovanie Le Priolat des Anges aux portes des gorges du Verdon sa nachádza 26 km od miesta Château de Taulane Golf Course. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, záhradu, terasu a bar. The cottage is great: the couple running it is very nice and welcoming. The room we were given was large and comfortable, it was very fresh even during hot summer nights. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations the hosts gave us. The gorges du Verdon were quite close to reach. Given the pictures we expected a homemade pie for breakfast, which anyways consisted of ham, cheese, eggs, toasted bread, coffee, yogurt and muesli, homemade jams and juice. The facility offers a wonderful courtyard where one can sunbathe, play table tennis or simply read a book in a beautiful garden. We strongly recommend it.

We had a delightful stay at this guest house in the Provence mountains. The room was very cozy and the guest house offered breathtaking views of the picturesque surroundings. The warmest hospitality of the guest family made me feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious dinner served by the gracious hosts. There was a salad with quishe, wine and a delightful dessert, so it was a culinary experience to remember. The warmth and generosity of this guest family truly made my Provence mountain retreat unforgettable. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and authentic French charm.
