The Chateau has been restored and shows off stunning views and beautiful grounds and garden. The interior is simply beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and restored to a very high standard. The surrounding area is so incredibly beautiful. We had wonderful meals at a restaurant close by. This stay was probably one of the highlights of our 7 week trip around France.

Hotel la Robeyere BW Signature Collection is set in an 18th century building in Embrun, 1.6 km from Serre-Ponçon Lake. The hotel offers free WiFi and an elegant décor. Great room and hotel, good spa facilities. Big hot tub able to look at the stars at night, wonderful. Staff are friendly and the hotel is on the edge of town, with a lovely view across the valley.

Les Peupliers ligger i Baratier, en liten by nära skidorten Les Orres i Hautes-Alpes. Som gäst har du tillgång till utomhuspoolen och spaet med bubbelpool, bastu och hamam. Excellent breakfast and dinner with a lot of local products served. We had a spacious superior room. I believe it was our third time here, will return!

Hôtel & Spa Ax Hôtel ligger i Chorges i Hautes-Alpes, 15 km från Gap, 8 minuters bilresa från sjön Serre-Ponçon och 20 minuters bilresa från skidorten Reallon och 38 km från Orcière. Pleasant room, good ensuite. Good swimming pool. Friendly staff. Food ok.

Hotel Le Lac ligger i en lugn miljö, strax utanför Embruns centrum. Här bor du nära en sjö med strand och rekreationsområde. Det finns ett hälsocenter med bastu, hamam och spa. Great hotel, very nicely finished and nice modern room. Spa was a lovely extra. 5 mins walk from plan d'eau activity area with nice walks round the lake. Half hour walk to town centre.

Le Relais du Lac ligger i Le Lauzet-Ubaye, 15 km från Pra-Loup. Här erbjuds en terrass och utsikt över bergen. Här finns även en bar. På boendet finns en presentbutik. The gentleman who checked me in and and made sure I ate at such a late hour and after a very difficult motorcycle travel should be given the medal of honor.
