With the Christmas decorations and the chilly weather the property lit up like a fairy land. The staff were enthusiastic friendly and very helpful all the time. Our room theme was tastefully and authentically done and connected to personal memories of my time in Africa years ago. The room had all modern facilities and lovely views. The grounds and gardens were inviting and interesting. The link between travel and histories was seamless and provided additional interest. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant on both nights. The view when you arrive is breathtaking (the majestic driveway, the garden and the tiny pond) and also inside everything perfect. We loved the way the room felt like it was a Loire castle; the luxurious fabric on the walls (in the same style as the curtains), the high ceilings with beams, the big windows. And yet it felt like everything was new and clean. Also, the service at the reception, in the restaurant and at the bar was sublime. This is definately the best hotel i ever went to. We will absolutely come back.

Set in a 19th-century chapel with stained-glass windows, this boutique hotel has a 24/7 reception and is located opposite the Botanic Garden in the centre of Nantes. The way they modernized a piece of history is incredible. A really nice stay, clean, comfortable rooms, nice and helpful staff on top of a high quality breakfast. The location is also an advantage, having just to cross Jardin des plantes (just wonderful) and you get to the City Center. All in all, highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Nantes.
