Situated 400 metres from Highland Folk Museum and 1.7 km from Ruthven Barracks, The Osprey Hotel offers accommodation in Kingussie. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. Hiking can be enjoyed... We had a perfect stay. The room was very nice: spacious and beautifully decorated. Big enough, very clean and the shower was really good. Everything worked perfectly. They do serve the best breakfast here! We have eaten the best porridge ever with really nice fruit. Very good for cyclists doing the LEJoG trial or any other trial. The coffee was also perfect and the owners are really helpful and they communicate so well.

Found in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park, Scandinavian Village in Aviemore offers high-quality accommodation beside these rugged mountains. Quick response from the host. The place is neat, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed. The washers and tumble dryers at the guest laundry area is a plus. The apartment size is able to accommodate all four of us. The place is walking distance to the town center with many eateries and also a supermarket, Tesco. The apartment has two bathrooms and toilets which cuts down queuing time for our group. There are also a lot of car parking lots.

Dalrachney Lodge is a family-run country house hotel in Carrbridge, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and is approached via a tree-lined riverside driveway. Everything! Used to be an old hunting lodge, and Steve and Tracy have transformed it into a fabulous Inn. Beautiful rooms, very clean, super comfortable-best “sleep” of our entire trip, great breakfast! They were professional, but also treated us like old friends while we hung out with them in their very own bar that one evening. Reminded us of what B and B’s USED to be like back in the day.
