Great location between Wigtown and the Bladnoch Distillery. The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. My wife is a gardener and really appreciated all the fresh flowers inside. This was our first trip since COVID and we had some special needs that our hosts graciously accommodated. Best place we stayed during our vacation.

Beautiful wooden house, magnificent view, great bed and nice kitchen. Everything you need to relax a couple of days. Milk, juice and a homemade cake at arrival. Great hosts!

Featuring free WiFi, Cruachan House offers accommodation in New Galloway, 25 miles from Dumfries. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is equipped with a TV. We had an excellent spacey room and bathroom. The breakfast was good and the hostess was very nice and provided us with good tips about things to do and where to eat. The garden warrant a special mention. It's huge and there are several areas where you can sit and relax.

Best breakfast we have ever had in a guest house. Excellent hosts very accommodating and friendly. Plenty of local information and great recommendations for eating out. Would highly recommend staying here.

It was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and a brilliant location with proximity to Wigtown and Newton Stewart as well as excellent views (especially at night). The hosts were very communicative and welcoming, providing lots of great info about the area and kindly helping when we accidentally left an item at the property. The rooms were all comfortable and cosy, and electric blankets on the beds were such a nice touch as well. The hosts also left us some gifts such as a ginger loaf which we thought was very considerate. Overall, we felt that a lot of effort had been put in to ensure we had a good stay and it definitely made a big difference.

Well thought out apartment with modern feel in traditional setting. All spotlessly clean and well maintained. Good heating and hot water. Great garden area (though I understand it is a community garden). The adjacent Community Village shop is lovingly cared for and very well stocked. Good arrival instructions and getting the keys couldn't be easier.
