Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were clean and cozy. Ample parking right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the center of town. Our room also afforded a lovely view of the lake. The front on the hotel has a lovely seating area and garden where my wife and I had an evening drink from the hotel's honesty bar (well-stocked).

Situated within the picturesque Lake District, the privately owned Glaramara Hotel boasts scenic views of the Borrowdale Fells, free parking, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and easy access to rock... I loved absolutely everything. This will now be my base whenever I go to the Lakes. The location is stunning, couldn't get enough of the views from my window and everywhere around. The room was a very good size, comfortable, very clean. Staff very friendly but professional. Lovely breakfast with cooked items buffet and some pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurts. Generally lovely facilities, especially the lounge with the fireplace.

Set in 2 acres of tranquil wooded gardens. The charming rooms have TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and many have breathtaking views of the valley and fells. Amazing location, really amazing!

Situated on the beautiful lower slopes of Skiddaw, Lyzzick Hall Hotel offers impressive mountain views and an on-site restaurant with extensive wine cellar. Great hotel, exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff were all very friendly and very attentive. Excellent food and service.

Nestled in Borrowdale Valley, the family-run, award-winning Hazel Bank Country House Borrowdale Valley is in the heart of the Lake District. The location is amazing. It is very calm and serene in a small little village. there are many beautiful trails right out of your doorstep. 

This hotel is situated within the heart of the beautiful Lake District, overlooked by the impressive fells and mountains. It offers stylish, modern rooms and an all-day coffee shop. Location was perfect, very lovely stuff and modern furniture in the room as well as all the building.
