Situated in Winscombe, 22 km from Ashton Court, The Swan Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Excellent, spacious room with good facilities, including mini-bar. Spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed. Amazing value for money and express check-in/out very useful. Free welcome Prosecco, and beer was a nice touch, as was the choice of teas and filter coffee in the room. Pub was cozy and food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and well trained. Location would be perfect for touring the area or walking in the Mendips. Close to Bristol Airport.

With a restaurant and a bar onsite, The Bath Arms Hotel offers adult-only accommodation in the picturesque village of Cheddar. The Cheddar Gorge Caves are just 10 minutes' walk away. Staff were exceptional, friendly service by all and showed us to the room happily helping us with luggage. Room itself was spacious, clean and inviting. Bathroom was fitted with a bath, perfect for relaxing after a good walk. Food was deeeelicious!!! 10/10 would stay again !!

Adjacent to The Langford Inn are en suite bedrooms housed in 2 converted 17th-century barns with exposed beams, original brickwork, oak floors and luxuries for modern living. The Langford Inn gave us quick and easy access to Bristol airport. The staff were very welcoming and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. We had to leave too early for breakfast and we were provided with a breakfast ‘bag’ of fruit, pastries and coffee cups for use at the airport. The room was comfortable and peaceful. Our short stay exceeded expectations and we will definitely use this venue again.

Crossways is nestled in the heart of Somerset, at the foot of the Mendip Hills, 4 miles from the city of Wells. Staff were so helpful. They had a good knowledge of the community and every referral they gave was wonderful!

Situated in England's smallest cathedral city, The Swan provides excellent accommodation and hotel facilities. The Swan makes an ideal base for exploring Somerset. The Cathedral room was amazing. The location was perfect. Great for exploring Wells. The magnificent Wells Cathedral was opposite the hotel. Our room looked straight out onto it. Amazing!

Set in Wells, 2.5 km from Wells Cathedral, The Wookey Hole Inn offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. The hotel has family rooms. Service was great. Breakfast was great. Ambiance was charming.

Located in Shipham, within 24 km of Ashton Court and 26 km of Bristol Temple Meads Station, Lillypool Farm provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... Basic room but very spacious and clean, absolutely perfect.

Situated in Wells and with Oldfield Park Train Station reachable within 33 km, The Sheep and Penguin features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The Sheep and Penguin is a brilliant, newly refurbished little inn. We had the pleasure of staying a couple of nights there. It's a great base to explore Wells and the wider Somerset region from. Excellent customer service from all of the staff, especially the manager Dan who made us feel completely welcome and gave us some excellent local recommendations. The pub downstairs is fantastic and the food was top notch. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a very comfy bed! We would highly recommend that everyone visiting Wells or Somerset should stay here!
