Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. Understated elegance in every aspect, and outstanding quality in every aspect as well! Rooms - size, decor, amenities, view, rooftop patio for one of our rooms, both rooms just wonderful! A very nice, new, efficient, quiet, elevator Parking - right in front of the hotel ! Location - across from a beautiful park and close to town center Food - beyond excellent !! Dinner, breakfast, wine list far exceeded expections!! Value for cost: while not , definitely feel like we received extremely high quality service, lodging,, food and drink for the price Owner/Manager Roger - went above and beyond, sharing menu information, wine suggestions, food options for our two 9 year old children The rest of the staff were equally inviting and helpful at all times, from our reception host on 6/15 to the he lady staff member who helped me find more sugar at 0500 on 6/16 to our waitstaff. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip to England, all of the same "level", and this hotel far exceeded all others on this trip, and definitely in the top 5 of all hotels in our lifetime travels in terms of the combination of all factors that make a stay pleasant - elegance, quality, amenities, convenience, service. In the heart of the historic market town of Barnard Castle, The Three Horseshoes Hotel is a 17th century building less than a mile from the River Tees. Right on the main street, beautiful town, 5 minute walk to the castle

Situated in the village of Armathwaite with its views of Cumbria Pennine fells and the River Eden, The Dukes Head is a traditional country Inn where guests can enjoy a drink, traditional meal and... The room was very comfortable, with a seating area and a good shower room. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety on the menu.

Lovely staff and facilities. Banging breakfast with the chef preparing fried bread on request which was perfect. Also very good dinner.

Featuring a bar and free WiFi, The Fir Tree Country Hotel is located in Fir Tree. There is a restaurant serving British cuisine, and free private parking is available. Comfortable bed. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Food in restaurant was excellent.

All meals worthy of the two rosettes awarded. Hotel and gardens beautiful, rooms clean, comfortable and quiet, impressive attention to detail, staff professional and friendly. Here the customer was considered king and the focus was clearly on quality and definitely warranted the cost of the stay.

The place was beautiful, staff were so friendly We had food on the night time in The Smithy restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was tasty and well served. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning as part of our stay that was top quality

Ubytovanie Manor House Hotel and Restaurant sa nachádza v destinácii Haltwhistle 7,5 km od miesta Thirlwall Castle. The room was perfectly comfortable. The charm of such a historic building cannot be overstated either. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and inviting. Also, the distance to Hadrian's Wall is an easy hike. Overall it was wonderful.
