Situated in Portpatrick, on a seafront location,The Harbour House Sea front Hotel has a beer garden, coffee and cocktail lounge, and free WiFi in all rooms. The location was amazing - right on the seafront. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay so that even if the weather was poor we would still have the experience. Food was wonderful and the staff and locals were so friendly to us and our doggie. Lovely sitooterie outside the hotel. We will be back!

Situated in town centre of Stranraer, The Royal Hotel features a beer garden and bar. Stranraer train station is a 10-minute walk away and the Stena and P&O ports are located nearby. This hotel was excellent. The guy who checked us in made everything so chill, quick and easy. The hotel room was lovely. There was no hassle with leaving early either. And the tea and biscuits were greatly appreciated. Will definitely be i this hotel to any friends and family who will be in the area to catch the boat.

Located in Portpatrick and with Portpatrick Beach reachable within a few steps, Crown hotel provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. What a view! The hotel was spotlessly clean, cosy and the bar was lively and full of character on a Saturday afternoon. A gorgeous fire that kept the cold at door. The staff are some of the most helpful and welcoming we have experienced. We had dinner at the hotel and enjoyed everything. Reasonably priced and best of produce. Breakfast is plentiful and offers something for everyone. We will certainly return in the future. Absolutely delighted with our stay.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel offers accommodation in Kirkcolm, 14 km from Stranraer. Free private parking is available on site. Every room has a flat-screen TV. We picked this establishment because it was the only one that had rooms for those of us that are disabled (first floor). The inn is remote but is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a slightly remote house which we really loved. Large windows in the living area looking over the rocky seashore made for a serene morning coffee scene. We also really enjoyed the 5 course meal served in the restaurant in the lighthouse.

Set in private gardens above Portpatrick, Fernhill Hotel boasts open views over the village, harbour and Irish Sea. We loved everything about it. The toilet was noisy for a long time after flushing but everything else was lovely. The gardens, the walks out the front door, the quietness, the stunning views from our patio. We loved the walk up by the golf course and if we had another day would have explored those hikes more. The staff was veryfriendly and professional. It was a real treat to end our 2 week journey to Northern Ireland. We didn't want to drive home after taking the ferry so we stayed here instead. We were pleasantly surprised with the fabulous hotel and views. The array of Scotch whiskeys in the bar was a great idea and we partook in a few of those for after dinner. The Hendricks gin was also very good. It's just a very classy place.

With picturesque views across Loch Ryan, this hotel is situated in south-west Scotland, close to the ferry ports to Ireland. It has 2 spacious bars, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Really exceptional customer service from the owner and team. Everyone was very helpful to us as we were navigating travel and transportation in a new country AND on a holiday. The room was very nice, super clean, and had everything we needed. We were served a lovely breakfast and having the restaurant as an option was very helpful.

The views, location , cleanliness , the size of the room and the dinner hall were beautiful. A real sense of pride in the place.
