Rutland Water Courtyard Rooms are located on Rutland Water Golf Course. A restaurant, an on-site bar and free WiFi is available. Free private parking is available on site. Peaceful location, lovely courtyard room with everything needed, including a very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast and excellent evening meal on the day we chose to eat there. It was nice staying next to the bar - we could have a drink in the evening without worrying about who was going to drive. We're not golfers, but learned a bit about the sport while we were there! Also was great to be so close to the Nature Reserve and able to walk around Rutland Water.

Nestled close to the shores of Rutland Water, just 5 minutes’ drive from Oakham and a 50-minute drive from Leicester. The house is extremely well built, furniture are great, there is a playroom with a pool game downstairs, in which we spent a lovely family time. When having diner you feel you are in a canpy surrounded by greens. The river is just down the road, offering great walks, and the pub is serving good food. We wished we had stayed longer!

Beautifully situated in the historic market town of Oakham, this 17th-century former farmhouse has been lovingly restored to offer luxurious guest rooms with Freeview TV, whilst still retaining its... On arrival the staff were very friendly. We'd asked for an early check in, and they pulled out all the stops to have it ready within 10 minutes of arrival. All staff, whether serving us or not, greeted us and were friendly. We were attending a wedding nearby and so asked if they could order us a taxi and they actually rang round to get us our preferred time. The room was quaint and comfortable and plenty of room. The bed was super comfy and everything very clean. We ordered breakfast which was well cooked and very nice. We enjoyed our stay so much that we promised ourselves that we'd return for a full weekend in Oakham and definitely stay here.

Family owned and run, Greetham Valley Hotel is set amidst tranquil Rutland countryside. 10 minutes' drive from Oakham, Stamford and Rutland Water and with easy access via the A1. The location is very good, it's off the beaten track but on a well-loved golf course. Which makes the hotel part both welcoming and warm. The bar & restaurant is separately located in the golf course clubhouse. The staff here are polite and very helpful. I had driven a long way late in the evening to get to the hotel, I am not very observant after a long drive. The staff were polite, unjudging and kind to me, which made my stay far better. Good service is priceless. The hotel room was large, well catered and comfortable. The ensuite was up to the task, the shower was amazing. Dinner, a good night's sleep, breakfast and I was on my way once more.
