A Regency house overlooking Ullswater, the Macdonald Leeming House has an award-winning restaurant and views of the Cumbrian Fells. It is a 15-minute drive from the M6 motorway. A beautiful lakeside hotel in a beautiful garden setting. Room was spacious and included all the necessities. Ordered dinner from the bar and saved the service fee. Breakfast was included with a good variety of choice.

By Ullswater Lake, Patterdale Hotel offers home-cooked food, a garden terrace and lounges with fireplaces. Hotel Patterdale is between 2 scenic mountain ranges. The staff the hotel and the setting are all absolutely amazing. We were taken great care of and the food was to die for. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time here in Glenridding.

Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Beautiful location and easily accessible to the Lakes and places we wanted to visit including Keswick, Ambleside, Grassmere, Windermere, Pulley Bridge and beautiful scenery. House was perfect for us. We were a family of 9. Granny and grandad, 2 boys, their wives and children under a year and our daughter. Facilities in the house were excellent and being located next to the building with a bar was ideal. Beautiful clean campsite too.

Located in Patterdale and only 22 km from Askham Hall, Crookabeck B&B provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Crookabeck was outstanding and ticked all our boxes. it’s a stunning property and after more than 3 weeks staying at B&B’s all over Great Britain, Crookabeck stood above all others for us despite staying at some stunning properties. We had the luxury of our own lovely little lounge that made us feel right at home. Adam and Julia were just awesome hosts. if you’re in the area, this is the place to stay.
