Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel Sophia in Hydra! The rooms were impeccably designed and offered the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The rich and amazing breakfast spread was a wonderful way to start the day, offering a variety of delicious options to satisfy any palate. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the hostess, Vasiliki. Her warmth, friendliness, and genuine willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was memorable and enjoyable. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like a valued guest. The attention to detail in both the accommodations and the service provided made this stay an unforgettable one. The location was lovely, quiet and remote. The property was picturesque and tidy. We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. I wish we could have booked one of the tours on the larger boat, but we just didn’t have time. Next time!

Nothing was too much bother from the staff. They helped us carry our luggage the short distance from the port. As a city dweller it was a great treat to have a room with view of sea. The dining area was a bonus for morning fruit of night cap in the evenings.The patio area was perfect for relaxing in the cool of the day
