Nel fiume Río Dulce, vicino a un castello del XVI secolo, la penisola del Tortugal Boutique River Lodge è bagnata quasi costantemente da brezze balneari che creano un luogo fresco e rinfrescante. everything about it ! the rooms are lovely , the location is perfect and the activities (kayaking, swimming around the property, taking a boat to the river, walking in the woods) in the property were fun! the food was excellent throughly the day including breakfast. lunch and dinner and the drinks are delicious. the staff and especially Angela and Ruby, were just so lovely and are So welcoming and professional. they helped us with everything. from the minute we arrived until we left, even with taking a bus back to Antigua and arranged the driver, taking a boat day trip and just made everything feel so nice. Angela is an exceptional caring person and made us feel so good during the entire stay. thank you Angela for making our stay so special.

El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. Hotelito Perdido provides a great atmospheric stay at a riverside jungle lodge. The facilities combine rusticity with comfort. The vegetarian food is tasty and plentiful, and the communal dinners are lovely. There are plenty of excursions available and kayaks on hand at reasonable prices for independent exploration. Highly recommend!

Set in Puerto Barrios, Hotel Posada Stella Maris offers 5-star accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Set in Izabal, 45 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Situato a Livingston, il Livingston Resort Hotel offre un ristorante, una piscina all'aperto, un bar e un giardino. La struttura vanta camere familiari e una terrazza solarium. Lovely boutique hotel. Loved the unique style of accommodation. Very friendly staff. Probably best value for money so far on the trip.

Situato a Lívingston, il Casa Nostra offre un ristorante, biciclette gratuite, un bar e un salone in comune. Camera bella, grande e pulitissima, con affaccio sul terrazzo condiviso con vista porticciolo, meraviglioso e tranquillo. Il bagno in comune è stato pulito più volte al giorno, anche se purtroppo sono capitata in un periodo in cui c'erano alcuni ragazzi che sono stati male, quindi lo hanno sporcato spesso e lo occupavano di continuo. Bella la possibilità di usufruire di una piscina dall'altra parte del paese, anche se non sono andata. Personale molto gentile, soprattutto il gestore, che mi ha aiutata a organizzare ogni spostamento successivo con estrema gentilezza e disponibilità. Cibo buonissimo, il loro tapado il migliore assaggiato nei miei giorni di soggiorno.

Situato a Lívingston, a 2,3 km dalla spiaggia di Ribera Rio Dulce, l'Hotel La Casa Rosada offre un ristorante, un bar, un giardino e la connessione WiFi gratuita. C'è una bella atmosfera, una splendida vista e anche la cucina è buona

Situato a Puerto Barrios, l'Hotel El Reformador offre un bar, un giardino e una terrazza. Staff was super friendly. Incuded breakfast was very good. Great shower with good water pressure.

Situato a Río Dulce, il Nanajuana Río Dulce offre un ristorante, una piscina all'aperto, un centro fitness e un bar. Breakfast was delicious and prices were comparable to restaurants outside of hotel. Hotel also offered an hour or two (don't remember clearly) of free little foot paddling boats, which was fun to pass the time. The hotel is nice and secure as well with security outside of resort. Loved that they were pet friendly as well, so I got to bring my pup along!

Immerso nel cuore della giungla, a 3 km dal centro di Livingston, la Finca Tatin Hotel offre un ampio giardino, una terrazza arredata e un'area con amache. I loved my stay there, amazing place in the middle of the jungle, great atmosphere! They take care of everything. The place has a restaurant and they offer a range of activities (kayak, waterfalls, beach…)
