Location is great, within walking distance to many mini markets, food stalls, and great restaurants. The owners and staff clearly put a lot of thought into this place. Beyond the basic amenities, they also provided a hairdryer with various attachments (including a diffuser!), and a scale to weight your luggage, which was very useful for us. Would definitely recommend A Residence to any friends and family planning to visit Kota Kinabalu.

Instant response and even good morning texts with tips about everything made this visit very comfortable. The room was extremly clean and the quality was amazing. I have never experienced anything so priceworthy ever, a lot of value for your money spent. The room also had everything you might need like soap, water, coffea, tea and so on. Great shower and the bed was amazing. The place also felt very safe even though it was situated in a dirty building.
