Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. The food was nice and the staff were lovely . The beds were comfy and rooms were spotless

With elegant décor, the rooms at the Talbot Hotel Carlow have en-suite bathrooms with deluxe toiletries and fluffy towels. Rooms also feature TVs, free Wi-Fi and a 24 hour room service menu. Staff in Reception, bar and bistro were immaculate dressed, very efficient and so friendly. Will definitely stay again.

In the centre of Carlow town, Dinn Ri Hotel features boutique rooms, an on-site nightclub and live band venue, and an outdoor terraced bar. The stylish sports bar includes three 48-inch plasma TVs. Great location with lovely restaurants and clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were always very kind.

In the Heritage Village of Leighlinbridge, just 10 minutes from Carlow and 20 minutes from Kilkenny off the N9, the Lord Bagenal has been renowned for award-winning food and wine. Everything was exceptional. Huge room and huge bathroom, great views. Lovely friendly staff. Fabulous evening and food in the pub followed by the best breakfast ever the next morning. The breakfast range and quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Wow, just wow! Thank you and we'll be back again I hope!

An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Carlow, Seven Oaks is a welcoming hotel, ideally located just 3 minutes walk away from Carlow town centre. Seven Oaks Hotel offers... The hotel is lovely and convenient to town. The staff was lovely, evening getting us an early breakfast on the morning we had an early bus. Thank you all so much.

Boasting free bikes and a garden, Corriebeg Cottage provides accommodation in an isolated countryside area, 10 km outside of Boris, with free WiFi and mountain views. It was a beautiful, quiet, restful place to stay with a wonderful view of the mountains. Janie the hostess could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would go back and stay longer in a second.
