We loved the dinner at the restaurant. The details around the castle and the garden was just magic. Our room was a little small but the bathroom was big enough, really clean with all the toiletries. We recommend this place.

Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. The manager, David McCoy, was the absolutely BEST part of my stay. David was always available to answer questions, or provide help or advice.

Food and breakfast were amazing, views were gorgeous, downstairs and in the bedroom, hotel was warm, staff were friendly, and the hotel was so close to everything.

Dinner and breakfast with the other guests was very enjoyable. The house and grounds were pleasant and welcoming.

The service was exceptional. The people at The Brasserie restaurant went above and beyond to serve us despite the volumes of people and us showing up a little later for breakfast a couple of times. We felt special and they did everything with the best disposition and attitude. Great team. same goes for the staff at the reception. loved our stay.

With stunning design and spacious rooms, The Glasshouse is set on The Garravogue River in Sligo’s centre. It boasts an AA Rosette restaurant and a gym. The Glasshouse was lovely and it’s situated in an excellent location with easy walking to a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking was also easily accessed which we appreciated.
