Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. Great location and very comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast, although expensive by Irish standards, was really good. Great choice and quality. Comfortable room and great shower. I can honestly recommend this hotel.

We felt very welcome from the moment we entered the hotel. The owner was very friendly and eager to help us. The room was comfy and spacious, and the beds were very nice.

It's wonderful to be so close to the city and at the same time have such a beautiful view. But you must have a car! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated.

The hotel and room were lovely with a great breakfast and a complimentary happy hour each night. Both were very nice 'extras' offered by the hotel, especially considering that the sun didn't rise until 10am and set at 4pm.
