The house is in a quiet location and incredibly cosy. You feel right at home. There is simply nothing missing. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, a hot tub invites you to relax.

We had an amazing stay and felt really at home. It is a very welcoming place and the big windows allow a beautiful view. And the kitchen is provided with everything you need.The silence, the snow, the backdrop of the mountain was absolutely magical.

Such a beautiful atmosphere, quiet, and welcoming. It was a very good distance to locations we visited. Would definitely recommend to family/friends and come back again.

Ally is a very welcoming and attentive host: she would follow up later in the day to make sure you have everything for a good stay. This is a perfect accommodation for a solo traveller.

Set in Akranes in the West Iceland region, Bard Cottage features a terrace and garden views. This property offers access to a patio, and free WiFi. Everything about the place was perfect.
