This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. The location was amazing, close to Husavik, right next to lake Mývatn, close to local spa, near amazing restaurants and quite close from the famous Godafoss waterfall. The staff were very nice and helpful, coming from the Czech republic we were surprised there very plenty of Czech people working there. The room was perfect, very spacious and modern, beds comfy and bathroom was great, too. The view was great as well. Definitely recommended!

Clean and spacious room and bathroom, cosy beds, super view over the craters, nice bar with dinner and breakfast restaurant. We saw the most impressive Aurora over the craters. Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Great location and great welcome by the owner. Fully equipped kitchen and a lot of ingredients (coffee, tea, milk, eggs, oil, etc) made available by the owner to cook meals and breakfast, he welcomed us even with home-made bread. Highly recommend.

Amazing property and the owner is super nice! We loved waking up to the tranquil sound of the waterfall and sheep on the mountain in the morning.

We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite.
